Day 1: Sightseeing at Delhi
We will take you through the capital city’s popular tourist spots covering day 1 of the travel itinerary. Breakfast will be served the moment you board Hemkund Travel Coach. Qutub Minar, Jantar Mantar, Chandini Chowk, Red fort and Parliament House are tourist destinations you will be taken through. Lunch will be served to you during the afternoon. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 2: Travel from Delhi to reach the holy city of Haridwar
Our Hemkund tour operator picks you up in a luxurious Volvo semi-sleeper. Breakfast will be served on the way. And we travel all the way from New Delhi city to reach the holy city of Haridwar. The total distance from Delhi to Haridwar is 209 km by road and it takes around 7-8 hours for the bus to reach the pilgrim city. Lunch will be provided on the way. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 3: Sightseeing at Haridwar
Breakfast is served the moment you board the Hemkund travel coach.
Hemkund holiday package is a trip worth remembering. Bhimgoda tank is the first place we would be visiting in Haridwar. This tank is hardly a km away from Har ki Puri. The next tourist spot will be the Chandi temple, which is 4 km away from Har ki Puri. Refreshments or snacks will be provided post the visit. The third spot is the Mansa Devi temple. It is approximately 10 km from Har Ki Puri and you have two shrines forming the temple. One shrine has the Goddess with 3 mouths and five arms. The other shrine has the idol of the Goddess with 8 arms.
We will then cover Maya Devi Temple. Lunch will be served on the way. The travel coach stops at 4 pm near a shopping mall, where you can buy items of religious sanctity like statues of gods and goddesses, musical CD’s, inexpensive ornaments, jackets, stoles and garments. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 4: Travel from Haridwar city to Auli
Our Luxurious Hemkund travel coach will take you from the holy city of Haridwar up until Auli. Auli is 20 km from Joshimath. The total distance that needs to be covered during the entire journey is 220 km via Ambala-Dehradun-Haridwar road. It takes 7 hours for you to reach the hotel. Lunch will be provided on the way. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 5: Sightseeing at Auli
Breakfast will be served the moment you get into the Volvo. The first place we would take you to is the Auli artificial lake. This is one of the world’s highest man-made lakes. You can ski on the lake during winters. Auli artificial lake is situated at a distance of 7.5 km from the city’s main gateway.
The next place forming a part of the travel itinerary will be the Gurso Bugyal. This place is located at a distance of 3 km from Auli. The scenic spot is peaked at an elevation of 3,056m above the sea-level. During spring, this place looks like a carpet filled with green pastures. You also find dense forests filled with deodars and coniferous forests near the vicinity.
We then head towards Chattar Kund in Auli. This is the third spot covering day 5 of the Hemkund travel itinerary. You can find dense forests with tall oak and eucalyptus trees. You can wet your feet in a lake near Gurso Bugyal. And this lake holds sweetwater.
Lunch will be served post the visit to Chattar Kund. We then head towards our last item in the travel itinerary of day 5. This will be the Trishul Peak. The Trishul peak is situated at a distance of 40 km from Auli. It is one of the best skiing locations in the country. Trishul peak stands at an elevation of an astounding 23,490 ft from the sea-level. Trishul peak is surrounded by Trishul Mountains on all three sides. These mountains form the south-eastern corner of the ring of peaks encircling the Nanda Devi sanctuary. You can have a magnificent view of the mighty Himalayas. You now reach the hotel. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 6: Sightseeing at Ghangaria
You can have your breakfast the moment you get into the travel coach.
Ghangaria is also known as the valley of flowers. It is a 15 km trek from Joshimath. This is a beautiful meadow of flowers. You can find more than 7000 species of pretty looking flowers which bloom during the months starting June ending October. The virgin beauty of surrounding valleys, fresh flowers, fauna and beautiful looking birds and butterflies can simply leave you spellbound. The Valley of flowers was declared a UNESCO world heritage site during the year 1982. You can spend the entire day exploring flowers and plants kept in glass houses. Day 6: Drop from hotel to Delhi airport
Our Hemkund travel bus takes you all the way from Joshimath, Auli to Delhi airport. The total distance that needs to be covered is 260 km and it takes 8 hours for the Volvo to reach Delhi.
